The original piece composed and arranged by Maestro Bobby Ramirez was recorded in 2003 with a small ensemble as part of his Pan con Bistec CD, featuring Ramirez on lead flute, Abel Pabon, piano; Ruben “Tutti” Jimenez, drums; Ramses Colon, acoustic bass; JC Johnny Conga, congas and percussion; with special guest violinist Federico Britos Ruiz.
The arrangement itself is mostly the same musical structure of the original piece formatted for Big Band Jazz orchestra. It features the trombone section throughout various sections.
