Maestro Bobby Ramirez is a Cuban-American jazz flutist, saxophonist, singer, composer, arranger, bandleader, educator, author, and cultural advocate. Born in Camajuaní, Cuba, he has dedicated his career to preserving, performing, and teaching jazz, Latin jazz, Cuban music, and traditional Cuban cultural forms. Ramirez is the founder and president of Jazzonian—Jazz Museum of Florida, Inc., and the Instituto Folklórico Cubano Americano. Through concerts, educational programs, publications, and community initiatives, he works to inspire young musicians and families while promoting music as a force for creativity, discipline, cultural understanding, and personal growth.
