MVM Presents “Our History, Our Tradition” in Celebration of Cuban Heritage Month

Documentary Premiere, Salsa Show, Live Music Featuring Maestro Bobby Ramírez, Food and Community Celebration Set for September 11 at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus

MIAMI, FL — September 3, 2026 — In celebration of Cuban Heritage Month, MVM invites the South Florida community to come together for an evening honoring Cuban history, culture, family, music, and tradition. “Our History, Our Tradition” will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus Auditorium. 🇨🇺 🇺🇸

Designed as a celebration for people of all generations, the event will combine film, music, dance, food, and community in an atmosphere centered on remembering the experiences that have helped shape South Florida’s Cuban-American story. Admission is free and open to the community, with complimentary food and beverages and free parking available to attendees. The evening will also feature live entertainment, including a musical performance by Maestro Bobby Ramírez.

“Two Families, One Home”: A Pedro Pan Story of Family and Love

At the heart of the celebration will be the premiere of the documentary “Two Families, One Home,” which tells the story of three Pedro Pan brothers, the Cepero brothers, including Eloy Cepero, and their journey from Cuba to the United States. Their experience became part of a much larger Cuban-American story of migration, separation, adaptation, family, perseverance, and hope. Above all, the documentary presents a deeply human story centered on the enduring power of love and the bonds that connect families across countries and generations.

The story of the Cepero brothers offers audiences an opportunity to encounter history through personal experience rather than dates and statistics alone.
